The new blog

Like Kyle Schwartz from South Park, I’m baaaaaaaaaacckkk! This time it’s with renewed energy and a far superior blogging tool, WordPress. So far, I am loving it. It leaves Blogger at the 50 yard line with a pulled hamstring and a missing contact lens. For the last week, I’ve been extremely motivated to blog. I’ve spent lots of time reading other blogs, both personal and professional, and realized I need to hop on the blogwagon.

My job as an elementary school librarian lends itself very well to being reflective in a digital format. Outside of the giant, Syracuse University maintained LM_Net, there are relatively few places to connect to other professionals in the field. Has anyone noticed how much email is becoming a hassel lately? More on that in a later post.

Anyways, this blog will be about all things in education as they relate to a school library media center. We’re talking David Warlick here. We’re talking Alan November here. We’re even talking about local product, Chris Harris here. So what the hell is infomancy, anyways?

We’ll talk about it all right here. Jump onboard now.

More to come…
