OK, OK, so I am starting my New Year’s resolution a little early. Aside from the litany of things I need to work on in 2006, one of them is to do a better job of getting my thoughts and ideas on paper. Since, I hate putting the pen to paper, blogging on my laptop seems like a better strategy.
I’d like to use this as a forum to talk about all things library, especially school libraries. I am looking to have a little place on the Web to post my ideas or get something out of my head or possibly vent.
Let’s see if I can make this last…
Justin, I think its awesome that you’re starting a blog. Getting your thoughts “out on paper” is great for the soul. It could even be entertaining or enlightening for your readers too.
I know you’ll always remember that you’re sharing “just a librarian’s opinion.”
Wishing you all the best on this enterprise…

Hi Justin –
I think you were in my school media practicum seminar last spring. It’s great to hear that not only have you found a job, but that you’re working to make a difference. I decided to continue you on here at Syracuse and am working on my Ph.D. I’m involved this semester with IST 611 and the students are in the process of creating blogs of their own on how a variety of information technologies (webcams, wikis, etc.) can be used by the school library media specialist. If you’re interested in reading them or commenting on them, I can provide you with the URLs. Good luck with your resolution!
